Wrinkles are a fact of life, and it's inevitable that you're going to develop some as you age. However, there are anti-aging creams available that will refresh your skin. Regular use of a wrinkle cream and a healthy lifestyle can substantially decrease the number of wrinkles you develop.

While you can't expect any wrinkle cream to make you look like you're in your 20s again, there are creams available that can prevent new wrinkles and even reduce the ones you already which can shave years off of your face.

Keeping your body well-hydrated is a key factor in reducing wrinkles. Nothing can help reduce the look of wrinkles as well as a healthy water intake. I'm sure you've heard that drinking 8 glasses of water each day is beneficial to your overall health, and it will also enhance your skin. Adding wrinkle cream to your daily regimen may also serve to add moisture to the skin as well as retain the moisture you already have.

One of the most striking of the effects of wrinkle creams is restoring protein that is also lost in aging. Protein is the building block of all tissues and when it is reduced the support of kin is lost and sagging and wrinkling appears. Proteins need to be in a special form to be absorbed and used, which occurs naturally in aloe vera and which is created for collagen preparations in wrinkle creams.

Help out those proteins in your creams by eating a diet with good quality proteins as well. You should also eat plenty of antioxidants like carotenes, lycopenes, Vitamins A,E, D and C, drink adequate water and get enough rest and exercise to maximize the work of your creams.

Quality anti-aging creams will contain some of the antioxidants your skin needs, because antioxidants do work on the surface of the skin. Having plenty of antioxidants in your body can help stop toxins and exposure from damaging skin, reduce inflammation in tissues, and help to heal skin that has already been damaged. You will see visible results from the use of antioxidant creams.

Never kid yourself. Exposure to the sun causes wrinkles. The UV-A and UV-B rays damage skin and can even cause skin mutations which produce skin cancers as well as wrinkles. Make sure your wrinkle cream contains at least an SPF 15 sunscreen. Regular use will help reduce the wrinkles that age your skin as well as cancers that can cause severe skin damage and death.

You may find other remedies that are as effective as the very expensive designer creams. Try a little petroleum jelly after washing your face. It will block the moisture from leaving your skin. And if you want a temporary fix for crow's feet, try rubbing a little hemorrhoid cream around your eyes.
