Hypnosis is usually analyzed as a mental state in which someone becomes more intellectually receptive and can reach out hidden areas of their brain. Numerous skeptics do not get the purpose of hypnosis and still see it as some remotely-related black magic wizardry. The truth is, you do not need to learn how to hypnotize a person to benefit from hypnosis.

Hypnosis has been used over the years to diminish stress, help people stop smoking or lose weight. But learning how to hypnotize does not necessarily imply staring at a vacillating stone and faint. When you learn how to hypnotize someone, you actually see that is done in a very reposeful and ascertained manner to help put into a daydream mental condition-you are completely awake and you know exactly what is going on around you.

When you delve deeper into a few techniques to learn how to hypnotize someone, you realize that the mental state you are in is to make you focus and concentrate whilst freeing your mind from other thoughts. People using hypnosis-or people who know how to hypnotize someone- know how to solicit their subconscious mind to change their everyday thinking patterns.

To give you an example, should a person want to lose weight, they might want to use hypnotic techniques to alter their way of thinking. In this case, eating becomes no longer a priority and turns into something that repels them.

During a hypnosis session, you're simply planting seeds of thought into your subconscious mind so that they'll take root and grow from there. The more often you do it, the stronger those thinking patterns will become until your behavior is changed for the better.

Anyone can learn how to hypnotize or be hypnotized. Now, how to learn how to hypnotize someone? Have you ever found yourself so absorbed in a book that you're concentrated on the pages and half an hour later, you realize that you didn't notice anything going on around you?

Hypnosis is similar to a zoned-out state of consciousness: you may have also found yourself in a particular mental state where you're so concentrated on one thing that you do not even know someone is talking to you at that moment.

All the external stimuli are suppressed and the focus of the person being hypnotized is only on the hypnotic attraction. Once you have learned how to hypnotize someone and reach that stage of inner-control, you can change the thinking patterns of a person by "encoding" new ones.
